The Ask:
Develop a campaign that seeks to expand the reader’s understanding of “fraud management”—reminding fraud teams that foiling fraudsters is only one piece of the puzzle. Critical revenue is being left on the table as a result of false declines, and now—more than ever—is the time to defend your bottom line.
The Solution:
Our approach was to create a paid social demand generation campaign that not only brought awareness to Forter's solution but to also educate our core audience on the importance of fraud management and the threat it can have on their business and their customers. We broke this process down into a 4 phased approach:
1. Understanding Core Audience:
Our campaign initially started with a thorough market analysis to identify key target audiences and their pain points related to fraud management and identity protection. Through this process we identified a key pain point for our audience that revolved around alienating or displacing legitimate customers while trying to fight against fraud.
2. Crafting Compelling Messaging:
Knowing this, we then developed an impactful strategy and campaign messaging framework that connected with our audience on an emotional level—letting them know that we understand their daily struggles against fraud and positioned Forter as the solution they need to fight fraud effectively without losing out on real, genuine customers.
3. Visual Execution:
With our messaging in place, it was now time think how we can support that narrative visually. Our approach was to put the customer themselves at forefront and allow the visual language to showcase their experiences from account sign-in to check-out.
4. Multi-Channel Distribution:
Partnering with our Demand Generation team, we implemented a multi-channel approach utilizing various platforms like social media, email marketing and content marketing to reach our brand awareness goals and target our audience effectively.
